How oversight works here.
Oversight requirements in Alberta are set by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), and can differ from Ontario’s. We verify every Medical Director against the relevant provincial college, and always encourage you to confirm your own obligations with your college. Physicians are regulated by the CPSA and nurses (including NPs) by the CRNA. Requirements for cosmetic injectables and delegation can differ from Ontario’s — we match verified prescribers and encourage you to confirm current rules with your college.
Depending on the practice model, Nurse Practitioners may serve as oversight prescribers in some settings. We work with both qualified Physicians and NPs and match to what your practice actually needs — always confirm scope with your college.
